June is Pride Month and Pride Month presents a chance for you to express your support for your friends, family, coworkers, neighbors, or other LGBTQIA+ people in your life. Navigating how to be an ally appropriately can be tricky, but your support can help LGBTQIA+ people feel heard and safe as well as be used to amplify LGBTQIA+ voices as they advocate for equal rights.  As an advocate for the LGBTQIA+,  our team has created two shows dedicated to addressing the many challenges faced by the LGBTQIA+ community.

Our first guest in this series is Melissa DaSliva. Melissa is the owner of East Coast Mental Wellness,  a therapist, author, podcast host, and an artist. She specializes in working with LGBTQ+ individuals and school systems. She joins us to talk about creating a truly inclusive environment for the LGBTQIA+ Community, by offering direct emotional and therapeutic support for people in crisis. She also offers advice, support, and simple strategies to make like changes for the better.
