Show Notes

Starting and growing a business in the creative industries can be challenging at the best of times. Can you move your company forward during a major crisis such as the COVID-19 pandemic, and if so, how? Serial creative and designer Marjorie Nicole joins us in BalmShelter to how she's using her skills to protect us from COVID-19.

As one of the latest entrepreneurs to step up and help out with the nationwide mask shortage, Marjorie  Nicole, founder of NSAA, an African inspired clothing boutique, started selling reusable face masks with fabric from Africa for use as protective measures against the spread of COVID-19.

The facial coverings are more crucial than ever since the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) began advising that people should wear them in public places where it's hard to keep a safe distance from others.
